This 45-minute class is aimed at maintaining or regaining your mobility while building strength and reawakening the power of your 650 muscles. This is a full-body flexibility technique that works through the muscle chains liberating, relieving from tension and pain and empowering the muscles in the process. Whether you are starting to exercise or train on a regular basis, this workout will help you rebalance your body and prevent injuries.
Class consists of a series of passive poses that are held for approximately 3 minutes. All poses are done seated or lying down. .
A blend of stretching and mobility practice, along with relaxation and breathing exercises. Beginners as well as more advanced students are welcome to join at any time.
Promotes body acceptance and practicing yoga with the body you have today. It is a wonderful class for brand new beginners, as well as people who have been practicing for a while but haven’t yet found the community they’re looking for.
We take the “work” out of workout, by mixing low-intensity and high intensity moves for an interval-style, calorie-burning dance fitness party.

Pilates inspired workout
This 45-minute class focuses on core strength and body awareness. We will be using small weight, resistance bands, stability balls and your own body weight to perform mindful exercises. For all levels.
Weight room training
This is a 45-minute workout that takes place in the weight room, this is a great way to familiarize yourself with the equipment. Held on the first Saturday of each month.
Women’s only workout
This class is a mix of cardio and strength focused on core strength and mindful movements.
PWR!Moves® Circuit Class
This Parkinson disease-specific exercise class integrates PWR!Moves® into more traditional gym activities such as strength, agility, balance, coordination and flexibility training.
This is a full body workout in either the shallow or deep end. The water’s properties reduce stress on the joints, make the workout enjoyable with the reduced heart rate and cooling effect of the water.
Red Cross Swim Lessons
In association with the Canadian Red Cross, NAV Fit offers swim lessons in our indoor pool year-round. Programs are available for children 4 months and older and run for a duration of 9–10 weeks. Enroll your child today and help promote overall health and wellbeing.

This is a 10 week program which requires registration. Individualized attention is given to each of the clients who may have any of the following conditions: Pre/post knee and or hip surgery, lymphedema, fibromyalgia or any other musculo-skeletal injury. Maximum of 8 clients in the class.
Junior Lifeguard Club
Coached in a fun way, the Junior Lifeguard Club is a place for kids to focus on swimming skills, lifesaving skills, personal fitness, community education, lifesaving knowledge, leadership and teamwork. The Junior Lifeguard Program Standards have been developed by the National Lifeguarding Society of Canada.
Swim Development Program
This is a recreational swim program to help young children and adults foster their love for swimming without having to commit to a serious training regimen or competitive events.
PWR!Moves® Aqua Group Class
This Parkinson disease-specific exercise class will teach you how to move bigger and faster in everyday life and help counteract PD symptoms!
Bronze Medallion Course
This course teaches an understanding of the lifesaving principles embodied in the 4 components of water-rescue education. Rescuers learn tows and carries, and defence methods and releases in preparation for challenging rescues of increased risk involving consious and unconsious victims of various types. Lifesavers develop stroke efficiency and endurance in a 500 m timed swim.
National Life Guard Certification
National Life Guard certification is required for any individual wishing to become a Life Guard.
Counsellor in Training
This program has been developed to help youth acquire the skills needed to work in day camps settings. Red Cross Standard First aid and CPR certification will be part of the program, as well as training for core competencies required to work with youth. Specific training will be provided regarding aquatic safety, leadership, ages and stages, and communication and dealing with challenging behavior.
Kids Fit Camp
At NAV Fit the goal of this camp is to offer a safe and nurturing environment around caring role models that help promote sportsmanship and creativity for ages 6–13. Kids can share experiences in a friendly atmosphere.

Great club! Being new to Cornwall I was lucky to find exactly what I was looking for at the NAV… customer service at reception is always efficient and friendly. Sylvie is a real pro at what she does and so are all the instructors.
I moved to Cornwall just over a year ago. I looked around for some exercise classes in the area and lucked upon the Aqua Fit classes with Lois. I’ve been to many over the years and Lois is the best. It’s important to me to have a teacher who reminds me proper form as I work out. And she is exceptionally good at that. She gives a great workout. Highly recommended.
We try to swim 3x week. Love that towels and lockers supplied and the pool has open and lane swims available. Friendly staff, excellent membership pricing. Have used the gym and weight room too.
Started taking the “Healing Waters” fitness class to help with my knee replacement. This has helped immensely with strengthening and mobility issues I was having. Great course.
